🌱 Start Here: How Ordering Works

We grow living plants and make custom 3D prints to order. These are two very different offerings, so they ship separately and have different policies.

If your order has both plants and prints, they ship in separate boxes with separate shipping. This way, a 15–30 day print never holds up your plant(s) from shipment. You'll see a shipping charge for each. Please plan for weather and carrier delays, which are outside our control.

🚚 Shipping: Live Plants

Plants ship Monday–Tuesday after a quarantine check, by ground or 3-day service depending on box size and budget. Plant shipping is never free, we rather charge honestly than cut corners on how your plant travels.

Where we ship plants:

  • Continental US, including California fully permitted.
  • 🟡 Puerto Rico requires a phytosanitary certificate ($80 + mileage), invoiced separately. Message us for more information.
  • Hawaii we can't ship here; the state requires bare-root shipping, which we don't offer.

Large-box fee: applies to boxes with any plant over 2 ft. or more than 10 medium plants, carriers charge us extra for oversized boxes.

Soil & compost ship separately; message us for an estimate.

🖨️ Shipping: Custom 3D Prints

Every print is made to order:

  1. You order and choose color, size, and other applicable options.
  2. Within 48 hours we confirm your production timeline (15–30 days, first-come-first-served in our queue).
  3. We print & inspect every piece by hand.
  4. We ship with tracking. Free standard shipping over $100.

Choose your color within 48 hours. If we don't have your specifications within 48 hours, we'll pick from our current queue to keep things moving, or cancel for a 25% custom-order fee.

💚 Live-Arrival Guarantee (Plants)

Your plant is guaranteed to arrive alive when you choose a 2-Day or Next-Day upgrade. Ground and 3-day are sometimes unreliable for living plants, so damage on those speeds isn't covered anywhere. In cold or hot weather, the guarantee also requires the matching seasonal protection add-on.

Pair a seasonal add-on with a 2-Day or Next-Day upgrade to keep the live-arrival guarantee during extreme temperatures.

💲 Damage, Refunds & Cancellations

All sales are final, we don't accept returns (plants are living; prints are made to order). If an item arrives clearly damaged or defective; a leaking self-watering pot, an obvious print defect, we'll make it right with a replacement or refund. To file a claim:

  1. Record an unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened.
  2. Email it with your order number to info@miyagisgarden.com within 12 hours of delivery.
  3. We review and, if approved, send your replacement or refund right away.

Cancellations outside our policies incur a 25% restocking fee; custom-print cancellations incur the 25% custom-order fee.

🏬 Local Pickup

Pick up at our Metrowest (Orlando) location or a local event. Once a pickup is confirmed and missed, we can't cover transport shock at pop-ups. Orders not picked up within 10 days are cancelled.

♻️ Materials & 🌿 Care

We use eco-friendly pesticides/fertilizers and reuse materials throughout the garden; prints use PLA, a biodegradable plant-derived plastic, plus recycled materials. Every order includes care guidance, see our Care Guides blog. Questions? info@miyagisgarden.com.
